Jess +Andrew 21.09.13
Jess and Andrew’s day couldn’t have been more perfect, the rain came the day before and returned the day after but the wedding day was blessed with radiant sunshine and happiness.
When Jess called me to tell me she was getting married and wanted Ahmad and I to shoot her wedding, We couldn’t have been happier to document the wedding of a friend.
I met Jess in the first year of my Bach of Design/Art Education Degree where she was my lecturer. We developed a friendship then and have kept in touch since.
Their wedding was held in Tumut,NSW, Jess and Andrew’s home town with many guests in attendance from all around Australia.
The day began at a local Tumut motel where both Jess and Andrew got ready with their bridal party.
Jess surprised her Mother by hiring (what was) her mothers first car, a classic blue Holden. The ceremony was held in a local park by the river, decorated with paper cranes that the couple had made together followed by a DIY reception at the show ground.
The reception was full of love and was a collaborated family effort, many hours went into the beautiful table settings, floral arrangements and lights that decorated the hall. (Jess sourcing most of the bottles and flowers herself). The day was a happy and relaxed one and reflected Jess and Andrews love for each other.
So happy for you both and that we could be there on the day to capture you love on your wedding day.
